Franz was head-hunted by the private conglomerate, Al-Futtaim Group, for Robinsons Singapore in 2012 and arrived in Singapore within the year.
As the Managing Director of Robinsons Singapore, Franz is keenly focused on revitalising Robinsons shopping offerings and experience to continue to meet the shopping needs of Robinsons’ existing loyal customers as well as attracting a younger shopper demographic and injecting some “entertainment value” in retail by bringing in new-to-market brands and creating visually stimulating merchandising that make shopping fun and delightful.
Within a year of joining the company, he has overseen the opening of Robinsons’ first suburban store in western Singapore at Jem®.
Now with the opening of Robinsons Orchard, the affable Franz hopes he will have some time to indulge in his favourite leisure activities of travelling the globe, cooking and, of course, shopping!
